While I was driving the other night I had a bong-vision that hatched my new dream track toy.

89 Nissan hardbody shell (stripped of everything)KA24DET 4 link rear suspensionford rear end10 second QM

I am sure it has been done before but, I have always had an affinity for the old hardbodies (I'm not talking about structure240sx). I figure you could put the whole thing together for pretty cheap. May even be a contendor for GRMs Cheap car Challenge

D21 hardbodies are very nice trucks. Up here in the NW they are very popular for race use and walk all over toyota in the division.

Heres my old D21 I sold to my little brother. It has a full custom rear 4 link and spencer low racing tubular front suspension. Little bro wont let me take it apart for KA hybrid swap

Im up north, near Lewiston or Moscow I guess you could say.

Thanks, that mini was my first vehicle, I built it in jr high before I got my license. It has full custom frame from the cab back, lots of tubular and a huge C notch. Its an 88 but as you can see nothing is left from that vintage, the whole truck was rebuilt with choice components.

I was a hardcore minitrucker back in the day

My First vehicle out highschool was a 1998 sonoma with a 4-6 drop and 2700 watt stereo that took up the entire extended cap area. I love mini trucks always will. I just bought an 06 frontier but it is by no means a mini. It sits as high as my friends FS dodge. If you are ever down this way with your 240 let me know. Are there any ID clubs or events happenning?

The idaho club/show scene is slim, nothing I know of that is worth mentioning. Your a ways away though so I have no idea.

Ive never been down to southern idaho, if i do though you will hear the monster coming, bap bap bap

Your still allowed a "race prep" on your stock block, room for a little cheat here and there. Concentrate on effiency, tailored journals and some oil pump mods help out a lot.

Ill have a vid/sound clip soon I hope, my little brother (one next to the truck btw) is trying to set it up.

I hooked a mic up to my laptop but it doesnt work worth a crap, i would have posted some sound if it did.

I spend to much on cars and not enough on cameras
