Well i had a red 92 coupe but it was giving me too many problems =/ I ended up selling it for $2900 and lucky me, turns out the car had a bad knock and ended up blowing a hole through the engine a week after i sold it! Lucky me, bad for him though. I did feel alittle guilty but i was almost sure it was just the timing chain. Well... i ended up buying another coupe for for $1400. The good, its an se pignose! And a 96 ka swap. The bad, leaky power steering and bad paint. I decided to do a two tone to it with rattle can just as a temp till i get the money for a more decent paint job. Well, on to the pics!

Still not done with the paint but just an idea of how the outcome will be.

Got rid of the nasty dent. It looks pretty ripply but thats just the paint. I didnt care how it came out since i was in a rush and ended up redoing it anyways. The white looks flat as f*ck since i didnt even start on it yet. Ill probably just end up painting it at macco and re-do the the black myself since i cant trust macco with that.

Well thats it for now. Ill have better pictures up later once im done with it. I still need to drop it. Maybe some megan's. Are those any good? And i still need to find some 280z wheels to complete those two. Let me know what you think! -Chris

Well now i has paint =D

reflexshunz r tight.

the white on black looks like pure sex. I love it. A lip would do wonders. Im looking for one too. The junkyard would be my best guess.

Thanks guys. I needed some feedback to keep me going. And 240sxftw, thats the reason for the "x" sketched behind the "SE" under my tail light.

Thanks everyone. Well the two tone is just a temp so its not my permanent paint, just keeping it like that so it can look decent till i get a real two tone paint job =P And yeah sometimes i think that, but the other car had bad paint too, and bad alternator, and the engine blew a week later so im pretty sure i made a good choice

I meant bad move on selling someone a car with a f***ed motor, but who knows. He could have/probably was some stupid ricer and floored the s*** out of it everywhere. But whats with all the bad alternators lately? I used to never hear about these cars and bad alternators... eh weird, whatever.

Thats cheap! Hope i can get a good deal like that. And yeah they're my favorite z wheels, just wish they were an inch bigger. Yeah 14's =/ But i might not do any brake upgrades till later when i get everything straightened out on this car, maintenance and such. Whats the point in stopping if its not going right. Haha.

Well honestly im a really nice guy. I would have lowered the price alot more if i knew the motor was going to blow. Him on the other hand... wants to paint the car yellow and put a vielside body kit on it... I just told him to do it if thats how he wants to roll. =/ And GAH! I love that two tone! The only thing is that white and black is something new to me and havent really seen many people with it (nobody really).

Yeh, i know its gonna be hard but once i start understanding internals more, and get a good job i might be able to at least get a decent 220-300hp.. Ive heard turboing a ka is pretty hard. But it can be a learning experience.

Well if you stay focused on it and know going into it youre going to want to set the car on fire at times, then youll do just fine. Dont expect everything to just work out perfect the first go around. Turboing a KA isnt hard, its just building SOLID KA first ,turbo it second. Dont build it JUST to meet your power needs, build it for beyond your needs to be safe.

also, 200-300 horse power is easily achievable

Yeah your right. It would help alot if i knew some local people to help me out. But most of them live pretty far from me. So ill just have to get by! Thanks for that input though. Even like this i still want to burn the d*mn car for the smallest things. Haha. And yeah i see plenty of people around the 300hp range. Thats why im aiming for it. I cant shoot TOO high. haha

I love it when people do things to their car themselves. Shows that you've the guts to try and attempt it yourself before getting it professionally done. It's looking sexy; love the shifter knob. =]
