Thanks guys. I needed some feedback to keep me going. And 240sxftw, thats the reason for the "x" sketched behind the "SE" under my tail light.240sxFTW wrote:the white on black looks like pure sex. I love it. A lip would do wonders. Im looking for one too. The junkyard would be my best guess.
Thanks everyone. Well the two tone is just a temp so its not my permanent paint, just keeping it like that so it can look decent till i get a real two tone paint job =P And yeah sometimes i think that, but the other car had bad paint too, and bad alternator, and the engine blew a week later so im pretty sure i made a good choiceDirtyGhettoKids wrote:Not liking the DIY two tone... but congrats on the car, bad move on selling the other one.
Thats cheap! Hope i can get a good deal like that. And yeah they're my favorite z wheels, just wish they were an inch bigger. Yeah 14's =/ But i might not do any brake upgrades till later when i get everything straightened out on this car, maintenance and such. Whats the point in stopping if its not going right. Haha.hbpignosePA wrote:just keep checkin yards... i almost shelled out for one on the forums
found one yesterday for 20 bucks
i love the 6 spoke wheels
but they are 14s right?
wont clear q45s or any brake upgrade
Well honestly im a really nice guy. I would have lowered the price alot more if i knew the motor was going to blow. Him on the other hand... wants to paint the car yellow and put a vielside body kit on it... I just told him to do it if thats how he wants to roll. =/ And GAH! I love that two tone! The only thing is that white and black is something new to me and havent really seen many people with it (nobody really).DirtyGhettoKids wrote:One more thing, If you do get a professional two tone paint job PLEASE make it factory seafoam green and silver. I want that color so bad, I love it.
Yeah. Im starting to love the ka. Ive been looking at r@mon's ka on youtube and that thing is amazing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f37ezpXBS8sSteady_One_S13 wrote:Looks good yo. Keeping it KA?
Yeah me too. I hate having it stick out like a sore thumb.MastaYu wrote:nice so far, i like the front license plate placement
Yeh, i know its gonna be hard but once i start understanding internals more, and get a good job i might be able to at least get a decent 220-300hp.. Ive heard turboing a ka is pretty hard. But it can be a learning experience.urcaptnspeaking wrote:good luck building a KA like his.. Hope you have deeeeep pockets. Also, I actually really like the Z wheels...
Yeah your right. It would help alot if i knew some local people to help me out. But most of them live pretty far from me. So ill just have to get by! Thanks for that input though. Even like this i still want to burn the d*mn car for the smallest things. Haha. And yeah i see plenty of people around the 300hp range. Thats why im aiming for it. I cant shoot TOO high. hahaurcaptnspeaking wrote:Well if you stay focused on it and know going into it youre going to want to set the car on fire at times, then youll do just fine. Dont expect everything to just work out perfect the first go around. Turboing a KA isnt hard, its just building SOLID KA first ,turbo it second. Dont build it JUST to meet your power needs, build it for beyond your needs to be safe.
also, 200-300 horse power is easily achievable
