Rims are 16x7 front 16x8 rear, with 225/50-16 and 245/45-16 tires respectively. The caliper clearence up front is amazing, there is like an extra 3/4 inch clearence with the Z32 calipers (not on my car yet but I checked them out off the car).

Brought over from japan by the guy I bought them off of (he never put them on his car). All I know is they are discontinued, dont really know what model they are.

the 245s will bump you up to street prepared or street modified. you have to stay 225 or narrower for sts/x. i hope you have some serious buisness going on suspension and powertrain wise if you want to be competitive.

I'm in street mod. My curb weight is somewhere in the neighborhood of 2650lbs and im making 240 horsepower to the wheels with a pretty good powerband. If I really wanted to be competitive I would dump my AC and sound system and run hoosiers, but this season I'm just in it for fun.

I looked at the picture once, reminded me of a BMW, then I thought about it and realized there's no bmw that looks like that. Looked at it again and same thing came to my mind. Looked at it a third time and realized, with those tires it looks like a smaller 850. Thats very much a good thing. Nice to see so many people autocross here.

I also spent 3 and a half hours fiddling with my front coilovers today (after that picture), getting camber, ride height, preload, shock travel all adjusted. Still have to mess with damping but other than that, it handles way better than anything I have ever driven now.

Hey Matt, how much do those Blitz rims weigh? I'm trying to shed some weight on my car and if they weigh less than my stock alloys that would be hot.

I never weighed them, maybe its printed somewhere on the rim, I'll check it out when I get a chance.
