Well I wasnt expecting much........ As I only have a Intake, Exhaust, Intercoolers, VPC.........

But on the Dyno....... I did : 313 rwhp / 347 torque(I left the dyno print out there, so I will have to post it later)

The guys are amazed how solid my new buy was. They said most come in dogged out with lots of problems, but this wasnt the case with my buy.......

The only problem they found was that it had NA plugs in it. So out they came........

Aside from jazzing up the suspension, my next step will be the 555 injectors, and the chip upgrade.

But I didnt figure 313 rwhp is too bad for stock ECU and injectors all things considering............

I pushed her over 160 mph yesterday on a very empty part of an interstate.........

I cant complain, she has been heaven thus far........ LOL

Overall the dyno got me to know hwere Im at and what i need to start looking into............

your not stock in the ecu. If you passed 153mph your ecu has been chipped or some other mod has been done to eliminate the speed limiter.

Thats what I had thought.......... It has some HKS stuff on it, but it uses most factory settings still.......... I guess when i think chipped, I think of the different gas/air stuff, and being able to run larger injectors...........

So NISTECH, waddya think tho???

you got a good car it sounds like.

When I say chipped I am reffering to an eprom upgrade inside the ECM. The main process is either piggy backed with another IC chip or it has been replaced altogether. Its a TT MT which is the only one I would buy prefferebly one built after 92 though due to the problems that plagues 90 through 92. If your car has had performance mods done to it those problems probably wont come into play.

All the connectors tend to have a corrosion problem under the hood as well as being very brittle from the heat. 93 and up models got all different style connectors where there were problems. the injectors[which your going to replace any how] tend to burn out and go open internally. V/C tend to leak as well as the turbo seals. There are other problems but I can not think off them at the moment those are just the most common ones. We just did about $6000 worth of work to one recently and his car is still not completely up to snuff,he still has other issues with the car he needs to address. it is a 92. A couple weeks before that we did all the same stuff we did to that one and it was a 90.Just be prepared to do heavy maintnance to the car to keep it up. you were lucky to find one in such good shape.

Nothing $2,500-3,000 per year [prorated] after you get them right won't fix.........to maintain them so they operate/function as new.

At least in ATL you have 3-4 independent expert Z shops to save you a little over dealer pricing.

I have been a service technician for nissan for the last 9 yrs. I work on Z32's quite frequently, all years, and have been subjected to recalls and updates made to the car while they were still very new and under factory warrenty. If nissan tells me to put updated parts on the car cause the old parts are garbage I tend to believe there was a reason for it.

Ok, I'll probably get it for this, but how in the world could you tell the wheels were on backwards? And yes, I have to remind myself not to put diesel in my 85 turbo every time too! :)

Yeah........ The spokes are going in the wrong direction.......

and it NEEDS to be corrected....... Maybe I will snatch them off myself. But then the tire direction will be wrong. Whoever installed the tires made a grave mistake.
