My new 240sx (Project Field Mouse) pics

Hey guys , I just wanted to show my first 240. This 1991 240sx marks my new hobby into street performance import scene. I found this car parked in the middle of someones field.



This is where we just loaded her onto my friends flatbed trailer. She barley ran and made up there on her own.

Pic of the stock engine. Someone painted the valve cove blue. Also there was mouse pellets everywhere in there.

Cheapo filter and in the right looks like a nest or something(Thats after I cleaned it a little)

The inside, looks like a tornado hit it.

I have cleaned up the car a bit since I took these pics. I have also did a brake job , tune up , and oil change. But I think I may have a spun bearing. It makes a very loud knocking noise when the motor is running. O well I just gonna run it till it blows. Then comes the sr swap

LOL Sorry I wrote that post at 3 am. I was going to a friends of a friends house and I saw the car in the middle of a field just parked there. So I asked my buddy about the car. He told me that it has been there for long time. So a week later I tracked down the owners of the property asked about the car. The car once belonged to their grandson who keep getting into trouble with the car. So they took it away. So the Grandfather just used the car to survey his property from time to time and actually haul ranch equipment! One day it stalled and would not turn on, so they left it to rot. So I bought the car for $200 with a clear title. Hence the name Project Field Mouse

No rust. Just regular wear. Thats the best part about living in a dry place like South Texas. Not much rain here.

About 167 thousand miles. They drove the **** out of it. I plan to make it a weekend driver / performance machine. Though it will not be my main transportaion, I got another ride for that. I am currently looking for a engine shop in or around the San Antonio TX area for a place to buy a SRT20 and do the install.

Nah man, It's legal. I paid for it. Clear title and all. The only thing I jacked was the home for alot of field mice and I think one racoon.

Sorry to say that Project Field Mouse is dead. I am selling the car. I decided that it was way too uncomfortable. See I am 6.4 ft and 280lbs and I just plain don't fit in it. When I bought the car the seats where not bolted on so the seat was way in the back. Now that I bolted the seats in the right place... well its a no go. I will put the car up for sale in the next day or so.
