My new 240sx gone bad

I just bought a 240sx earlier today and when I got home, the Check Engine light came on. So I turned it off and turned it on again and my Idle started from 1000RPM then jumped down to below 500RPM (almost stalling) then jumped to 500RPM (normal idle). After that it's all good but the Check Engine light is still on. Is there something wrong with my O2 Sensor? I can't get it smogged unless I fix this problem. I really need your help people!!!

See the 240sx.org , Faq section on reading trouble codes. It might help you figure out what is triggering the code to turn on your " Check Engine Light". As far as reseting it once you have finished unless you follow the procures for reading codes, it will likely stay illuminated for 50 ignition cycles unless there is a major problem. good luck

Yea.. the faq section is really helpful... See what's causing the light first and go from there...

I used to get some radical idles too but it got better after i changed the whole ignition system (plugs,wires, cap/rotor) and did some fuel system cleaning...

I did an ECU Diagnostic yesterday and came out with a code 33. So I switched the ECU back to normal and waited about 5 minutes and did another test. I got a code 55 (which means nothing wrong) so the CHECK ENGINE light went away. Earlier today, I went to get a smog check but while my car was on the dyno, my CHECK ENGINE light came on so the smog technician didn't pass it. WTF is wrong with my car guys??!?!?!

Code 33 is ECM (I think ECU)
