Hey, i just got a 1990 240sx, bone stock..., I need to know where i could get parts to fix it
Things that need to be fixed:cruise control wont workthe left "tab" that hold the string in the back is brokethere is no cigerette plugthe doors wont lock, u lock them and close the door and it opens right up
please give me tip on how to fix these or where i can get the parts to fix them, ty.

hahahaha The door thing.....You have to hold the outside door handle up while you close the door.

o, really? this is my first 240 but ive had a speed "issue" for a while, im glad u guys r here

hey, I tried that, it doesnt work + nothing happens when i push power locks, all the fuses r good i checked them

The door thing is a confusing but once you learn it its super simple and common in cars.
Scenario: Leaving the car.Step 1- Open car doorStep 2- Lock the door. Take your keys with you Step 3- Get outside the car doorStep 4- Pull the door handle as if you were opening it.Step 5- Close the door while holding the handle in the open posistion.Step 6- Once the door is closed and flush with the car frame you can let the handle go.Step 7- Try to open the door! It wont
Ummm Cigarette plug? Like the actual lighter or the hole (don't remeber the name) that the actual lighter goes into? Cigarette plug/lighter can be bought at any car parts store I would think. And the actual hole/adaptor that it plugs into can be ordered from any car parts store.
The Cruise control thing. Most of the wires are held on by little butt connecters. So either you can cut the wire and put on a new one or resize the connecter. There is little metal flaps on the connecter that can be resized if it just keeps falling off.

you and me may have the same problem.....do me a favor, try closing the door and locking it w/ a key from the outside. let me know if it locks.
