I just pickup a grey roadster touring (no NAV) 2004.5 with clean title, auto with 126K for $7200, all stock, no mods. Engine and transmission run smooth, cold AC, but look like it need a new top. The top is fairly rotten, it developing some wear points that going to be a rip soon, and few minor cosmetics like peeled paint in rear bumper (about 1"x4" peel, and some chip from rocks which is normal for 8 year old car), broken dash storage door. Is it a fair deals considering i need to have a new top?

Are you happy with it? Then it is a fair deal. ;)

My year and 1/2 old Z has rock chips all over the nose. That is going to happen on a low sports car like ours. Replace your top, get the dash storage door fixed, repaint the back bumper. Enjoy!

Post a pic.

Sounds like you got yourself a very nice car for a great price. Even if you have to put a little into it, still sound like it was well worth the price.

At under $8k with no major mechanical problems, that is considered a steal in my book. Try to find a reputable upholstery shop in your area that can do vehicle softops and have it looking back to what it should be.

Post some pics!

Thank you for your posts. It has LSD switch that i dont know what's for, also has cruise control, so far so good, i looked at the bottom, look like no oil leaks since it dry. I love it, thinking of buying the top off ebay and replace myself, i downloaded some instructions from ppl did it before and i guess i can do it, i'm a cheap guy lol, even if i cannot do it myself, i can have a convertible top guy come over for $400 to install for me. Here are the pics of it. I'm a happy Z- owner now.

One question, should i fill up with 87 or 91 gas?

here are some better pix of it. I love driving it. May be not as fast as manual 350Zs but much better than my 2004 dodge grand caravan which is recently broken. that's the reason i was in the market and found this one.

You might be talking about the VDC button, its basically the button that saves you from any human error you might make on the road.

Ex: Johnny tried to take the turn at 50mph in the rain but the vdc kicked in since he is a dumbass.

Good idea to leave on for a while if you are just now getting used to its limits.

Good idea to leave off if your know what you're doing won't end up in a tree.

For racing at an event like autocross, its usually just a good idea to just leave it off.
