i've been wondering about that for a while now. so after an RB swap, the odometer starts counting in km? does that have to do with the speed sensor for the RB transmission or something? any way to correct that to read in miles again?

So I wonder, I've got a 260kph speedometer in the skyline. If I ever get this thing back to the states, could I convert it too?

no on the s14 speedo it reads in mph with no issue as long as you have the stock 4.08 gears in the back on the s13 im not sure on what needs to be done in order to work with the rb but im sure the http://www.lsauto.com has a speedo and tach for an s13 that will work with an rb

yes i'm aware of that. i was talking about the odometer counting in kilometers instead of miles, not the speedometer/tach.. any ideas?

I just put the GPS in the car. It's within +/- 1mph of my speedo. It doesn't work in tunnels though...just don't go over 110 anywhere you can't get satellite signal.

How hard is it to put in different color lights behind the cluster? I'd love some red cluster lights

pretty simple; they have bulbs that plugs into the back, you just change the jacket on the bulb.

there is a few write ups on skylinedownunder.com or some british skyline sites have it cause i ran across a few but after doing it to a skyline it will effect your hicas system so look into it before attempting to mod it.
