Mostly stock, engine is built, but still stock turbo, manifold, injectors etc... only mods are:

Freddy intake manifold and Q45 throttle body

Boost set at 11psi +/- .5

stock injectors regulator and stock S14 fuel pump

bcpr6 plugs gapped at .22 (im going to increase this to .28)

i have a 3in downpipe, but it goes back into the stock s14 KA exhaust so its pointless

On 9ish psi it made 257 i uped it to 11 and it only made 10whp more... im suspecting that its probably from the stock 240 exhaust

the jump in Tq i think was from me dynoing in 4th gear vs all the others where in 3rd enjoy

Im really surprised that the AFR's are as good as they are, i hear people saying that the stock s14 pump isnt good enough and that RB's lean out without a FPR...

Why is your gap so fricken small?

Stock gap is .043, and you got a bone stock motor.

yeah, it made 257 at 9 so it should have been around 230 something on stock boost... altho i do have a greddy style intake manifold, not sure how much of a difference that makes

all that before even a cat back!?

I need to get on my crap and turn up the boost thats nuts!

I am assuming that with the Freddy + Q45TB you also have an FMIC in the mix as well?

What is your timing set at?

and holy crap good numbers!

Ill have to try a different plug and gap, because I am seriously pigging my car out, I think my boV might be leaking alot as well.

PICS!!!!!!!!

It looks like the power takes a serious hit when the VTC switches off, I wonder if it would make more power having it activated all the time or at least for another 1k rpm. I'm gonna be dynoing my Z very soon and I'm definitely going to mess with its deactivation point.

were you getting any boost spike?

Nice numbers!

But why gamble on the stock fuel pump with such an expensive swap?

IMO just replace the fuel pump with a higher flowing unit. It's cheap insurance.

I assume the torque is high because of the restrictive exhuast... it doesnt spike much maybe a half a pound or so

The stock fuel pump isnt just gonna crap out im on stock fuel pressure which is nothing over 65psi under boost... I bet a walbro isnt as reliable as a factory Nissan unit... However it will be upgraded once new turbo and manifold go on

Timing is set at 15 degrees (stock)

Its a fresh motor to its only got 800 miles on it since i built it..

well torque feel would be high due to an exhaust, but IDK....

thats still a s*** ton of back pressure open that up!

Damn, I wish I could have built my motor. Nice hp.

I made 232whp @ 5psi with a cone filter, walbro + fpr, stock RB25 S2, and 3" turbo-back exhaust. I couldn't get an accurate tq reading.

I now have a FMIC and apexi cone filter @ 10-11 psi...but I think my coils are going, so I can't properly dyno just yet...

Any chance of Dynoing after each upgrade? Pretty sad 7 years later we don't have any idea how much HP is gained through each upgrade.

I'll donate $5 lol
