I joined my350z.com because they seem to have more independent classifieds there.I found a guy selling brand new braided brake lines and 3 bottles of motul 600f for $200 shipping included. Not a bad deal.I PM'd the guy, we go back and forth a few times. Now I've been on my350z.com for a month or so, I don't post much, its like the writers for desperate housewives are posting all the time.....there's that much drama and no Eva Longoria hotness.I've only used paypal to sell things, not to buy. Whenever I have money in paypal I deposit it to my bank. I've never bought anything with paypal, so my understanding of paypal was, no money in your account....no money to buy with. I didn't know it would pull directly from your bank account. So I tell the guy, my paypal account has no money in it, how do I go about paying?Paypal email ****@hotmail.comanother guy wants to buy this and go thru the payment process alsofirst pay, first serve.....give me you address, BETTER be paypal confirmed address

Now this entire time, he's never told me his name or location or anything of such. I took the BETTER be paypal confirmed address, as a threat like I was going to screw him.My reply:I better be confirmed...are you threatening me?I might not post on my350 much, but I think you can tell by my PMs I'm not a joker who's out to hose you. I came right out and said I do not have money in paypal account. If you have someone else buying these, how am I to know you haven't sold them to him already and are just going to take my money?

He replied saying the other guy paid.

I was pissed for a minute, but took a chill pill. What a bunch of f#ckin morons over there. It sounds like most of them sit around and watch All My Children, and if they don't get their drama from that, they bring it to the board.I just want to buy my **** from guys there and be done with it! I hate that board

First off. Time to get to know paypal better. They require your bank account number and a credit card for a reason. It will pull funds from either when you make a purchase. Checking account takes a few days (think of a bank to bank transfer, then payment). Credit card is instant.

Second. I have issues selling to unconfirmed addresses too. The worry is that there's no paypal protection when sending to an unconfirmed address. Actually, if it's not through eBay, I think there still isn't any protection, but seeing the "Confirmed Adress" is peace of mind for me as it means that the paypal account owner is the one who's address is listed. Check their site for more details.

As for the parts you're looking for...There's a Vendor's specials section in the marketplace. You can also call up Riverside Infiniti or EverythingG35.com and check their pricing.

NateI understand what you're saying, but I didn't appreciate the threatening tone. I found out how paypal works in researching it after. I have a premier account and a confirmed address. But at the same token, he's the one receiving my money, and like any other deal, you don't ship until money is confirmed, so its more of a risk on my end than his. I'll check out those sites, thanks

I don't think it was so much a threatening tone. If it was, it was with very little body to back it up.

Did you know that paypal can pull funds out of my account if some douche lies and says I didn't send them what I was supposed to? There's a lot more risk on the seller's side than anybody wants to admit, but it's there.

GL. Let me know if you need help finding anything.

Thats a good price for the lines. I bought some StopTech SS brake lines for about $100 and I got some ATE SuperBlue fluid at the same time.

What kind of project MU pads are you carrying?

I'm looking around at these cuz they will be my next pads. I hear lots of good things about them from anyone who has them.

NateI didnot know paypal could go into my account and pull money as they wish. Thanks for the heads up, I'll be transfering my money out of my checking and into a different bank to save that from happening. Thanks for the heads up.

Only happens when there's a dispute and usually the money has to still be in the paypal account.

Paypal can only take $$ out of your account if a buyer says has an issue with something you have done. They can do it for buyer protections.

As a seller, it is always best to get confirmation when shipping a item whether its ups or usps. This is your protection.

I could care less where the seller came from, everybody should know how to use Paypal before they do and to not assume things before verifying.
