So far I have downloaded 140 CDs into the Music Box. Looks like my 2010 sedan will hold about 200 CDs and 2500 songs.

I have created 2 playlists. One of them has 350 songs on it, the other less. I'm wondering if there's a limit to the number of songs on a playlist? Anyway, each of these playlists is like having an IPod Shuffle. Pretty cool.

Most of my CDs are from the 80s and 90s. The hard drive has failed to recognize 2 of my CDs so far (The Peregrins and Alex Chilton), which are cataloged under "NO ARTIST" in the Artist list.

I guess I have a bootleg copy of a Lenny Kravitz album because all the song titles are in German.

The only other quirk is a problem with albums entitled "Greatest Hits". So far I have downloaded 4 - The Doors, The Byrds, The Fixx, and Tom Petty. The Music Box can't open just one of these CDs. When I select The Doors Greatest Hits album, I get all 53 songs from all 4 albums.

And the songs alternate. Song 1 from the Doors CD followed by Song 1 from the Byrds followed by Song 1 from the Fixx followed by Song 1 from Tom Petty followed by Song 2 from the Doors, etc.

No idea on the playlist limit. As for the multiple albums with same name thing, I think you can edit and manually rename the albums so they don't all run together. Add a letter or number or just change "greatest hits" to the artist's name (like a self-titled album) and the problem should be solved.

You can edit the name of a album, song, etc. It's on page 4-71 of the owners manual. If you need an online version of the Owners manual, visit http://www.infinitig37.com and select the proper vehicle model. Manuals are on the bottom right of each model page.

It would be expensive...but not impossible. I think you have to get a new screen, Audio unit, and an Audio control board.

One of the cool things I have learned about my Music Box is that I can play streaming online radio (Pandora, IHeartRadio, etc.) from my IPhone through my car stereo via Bluetooth. The reception is excellent now that I have downloaded the new 4.0 software to my old 3G phone.

I am now considering whether XM radio (170 stations) is worth the price of subscription when I have thousands of online stations to choose from.

First of all, thanks to all the helpful people on this forum. I've been getting a lot of great info from this site since I got my 2010 G37 convertible last month.

Regarding the MusicBox, about half of the 40 CDs I've recorded so far have had no info. As far as I can tell, I can manually add the name of the album, but if I want to add the name of the artist, I have to add it for every single song. For my 20 CDs with no info, that's about 400 tracks. Is that right or am I missing something? Does anyone know a quick way to add the artist's name?
