my motor makes a clicking noise

it comes from the front of the engine when i take the valve cover off it sounds louder. and it go's in reverse but when i put it in drive it dies. if i rev it a little bit it sounds like there a spark what could that be

i don't get ur post. Can you please make it more clear what ur asking? Maybe what your hearing is your fuel injectors they are pretty loud.

sounds like its time to change your timing chainmine did the same thing, turns out one of the timing chain guides was broken also.
