well, i put my motor back together...eagle rods, je pistons and rings, clevite up step bearings, slightly milled deck for best possible seal, 4 angle valve job, jwt s4 cams, greddy 1.2mm gasket, sard k3t turbo and stainless manifold, nismo t'stat, bored ka24 throttle body, jgy customs fuel rail, jgy customs "chrome powder coat" valvecover, greddy intake manifold. i ended up using a sentra crank as the rwd motor spun a bearing bad. here is a pic... shaun276-782-9100

KA24 throttle body on the SR? Hmmmm, seems interesting! Does the stock KA24DE throttle flow better than the SR one?

When I called the manager at Nissan USA Parts Division he said that the Sentra SE-R crank is a direct replacement for the 180sx/Silvia S13. The specs are all the same. I used a Sentra crank in mine and it has'nt given way yet. I am at the point where I just convince people to buy a new crank for a rebuild anyhow but $405 from the dealer adds up when doing a re-build quick.

Did you just mill the deck or O-ring it?

I'm sure this has been answered, but I've been searching for the past 10 minutes and it's 3:44 in the morning.

Is the Sentra SR20 head identical to the Silvia SR? If not, what differences? and can it be made to fit on the Sivlia SR block?

I see that the exhaust mani gasket from a B13 SR is a direct replacement, so I could use an Silvia turbo manifold....will the intake manifold bolt up?

Its a different head and when I say different it will bolt up I believe but is a different port design etc. the the distributor is set up different. It is similar to the blue bird fwd version-basically the same. Some one correct me if wrong. I use the ka t.b. to. it works good. And Pamp...that is fu(king Dope as helll!

the head is different. you can't even use the fwd headgasket on a rwd as it has water and oil journals in different spots i've heard.shaun
