I have twin walbro hp's and a kenne bell boost-a-pump. The specs say that it should flow 600+lph @ 60psi. If my calcs are correct I should have no prob flowing enough fuel for 850whp. Tell me if anyone has an oppinion on this? The carrol shelby super snake makes 725whp with stock twins. It all cost maybe 400ish. I just want to give it a shot.

What sizes hard lines are you running to the engine bay and back? Don't even bother running soft lines from the tank to the trunk if you want to meet NHRA standards (which is kinda dumb to me).

Ive heard the Boost A Pump overloads the fuel pump and kills it rather quick. Any truth to this?

I hear no ...as per k. bell's site that it cant hurt them cuz it has a built in voltage regulator and it wont kick them on unless it hits 5psi

Twin pumps are always a risk. Had a friend run twin Walbro's on his setup and near blew his motor from one faulty pump going bad. At least with a single pump setup, if it goes bad it simply means the car shuts down, one a twin setup, if one goes bad as the other stays up, you run the risk of leaning out and frying you motor.

yeah i'm not a fan of 2 fuel pumps, just seems like there is that ONE more thing that can go wrong and i would hate to have my car running off of two pumps and one of them to go out... bad newsmy fuel setup is:

aeromotive a1000 pumpaeromotive compact fprprecision 1000cc inj.greddy fuel rail-10a/n feed-8a/n return12 rci fuel cell

found his problem...if had been running 2 044's it wouldnt have happened.

i'll be running a aeromotive eliminator fuel pump with -10 and -6 lines with a seperate fuel system for my nitrous with a 044 pumping it.

Can happen to any twin setup. Safer to just run a larger single pump.

Supra guys seem to have great luck with running 2-3 Walbros or Densos in the tank. Personally id like to use the Walbro pump to a Sump and then run a Aeromotive or Weldon pump as the main feed for the engine.

I have been kicking around just running 044 submersed in tank for stock RB setup. That should be adequate for later upgrades, don't you think?

I have seen some pretty elaborate fuel setups and wonder if it is really necessary? I would like to think a simple single fuel pump - filter - return system would be more reliable.
