Okay, so I dunno if anyone remembers but my mom had a minor accident damaging a small part of her rear end, Well three days ago my mom seriously added to the number of extinct 240's. She is okay though and that in itself I am very thankful for.
Now dont ask me how the hell she did it, I dont wanna talk about it. Anyways I just wanted to post a tribute to it and say goodbye. Also add that we have a s*** ton of extra parts so PM me and i might have something your looking for.

We try to document where each Convertible is. This combined with the low production numbers can allow for the cars to be classified as collectible. We'd truely like to get to the point that we know where all the Verts are and how many are still on the road.

This is the site:
http://www.240sxvertregistry.com/

Would just need to enter the VIN number and then you can update the info for that car.

Actually, I think if someone had the time and money and were really really hard headed like me, They could cut the whole front end from the firewall, and fix another one to the body it could be brought from the dead. I would, but I have not the time nor the money :(

Yes, we want to know when they are no longer on the road, so whenever we find them in Junkyards or anything we enter them on the registry.

Consider there were only a little over 8k Verts made we are just trying to find them all, no matter their condition.

Its easier, cheaper, and safer just to transfer the parts off of the wrecked one onto another shell.

Also if you are parting it out, put a post in the FS/WTB thread at the top of the page and in the classifieds part out section.

Where are you? I find quite a few on Autotrader and Ebay. As well as in forums.

Says:
1993 Nissan 240SX, auto, 4cylinder, very reliable, A/C, fainted paint, couple of dents but runs great, rebuilt cylinder head, AM/FM/CD Stereo, convertibel top is electrical and works great, $1,800
But yeah, they aren't too hard to find, just depends on how picky the buyer is. I can't say much because I went 2 states over to get mine as well.

Sorry about the vert; glad your Mom is OK. I am looking for odds and end trim parts (screws, screw covers, plastic plugs, etc) from the interior and the trunk. My interior is the typical grey/grey cloth. Let me know if any of this stuff might be available.....Thanks in advance.....jd240sx.....AKA JD
