Hey this ugly beast does have a purpose in life other than freezing my a$$ off while I drive. I notice the FHP (Fl Hwy Patrol) does not notice this black brick going down the road so I got an idea the other day. I use it as a shotgun vehicle on my top speed runs. How you say this works oh Erik the Great. Well here goes. I get the urge to do top speed runs in the M3 about once a week but the stupid cops are like a real pain in the arse about it so listen up. I give my wife one of my Nextels and send her off in the M45 up the Turnpike way ahead of me. I sit on the shoulder of the road waiting approx 2 minutes to start my cannonball run. After this amount of time she calls me and gives me the green light. I nail it and hit the warp drive ///M Power fun pedal. I quickly hit 155 and listen for the wife to call red alert. The M45 is fast enough to keep a good lead for a while and again does it w/o attracting attn. i must say that car for a sedan is a sweet ride and now actually has a reason for its being, TO SERVE THE ALMIGHTY. I will keep y'all posted for new things to do with the FX 35 and soon to be added FX 45 in 2 weeks.

Actually, you guys and girls are missing the point. The M45 will serve nicely for getting parts for the M3 when it is recalled or in for service (it will be quite often), and it will accomodate all his friends if he ever becomes popular.

YEAH, HE'S SO FUNNY! MUAHAHAHA! Someone rush him to the Comedy Club ASAP!!! :rolleyes

I happen to find his disastrous attempts at humor painfully unfunny. The only way he'd get me to laugh is if I read this cretin's obituary in the florida paper doing his 155mph cannonball runs! :D

That's ok I sent a copy to the Director of Florida Highway Patrol, Turnpike Authority, from my aunt who is a VP of MADD and used her email and biography as return..........."get this guy [and his wife] or suffer the political consequences". CC: Jeb Bush, etc, etc.

Can't be too many in Jupiter, Fl.

Just kidding! But you never know who is reading what you post. Members should be careful about admitting to Felonies. Your words are permanent. Unless offensive.

And Dennis IS right, going over 30mph over the speed limit is a felony in some states and doubling it is a felony in ALL states. You know what that means? Bye Bye M3. You could have Johnnie Cochran and all he'd say is "you're stupid"

I bet I know this guy from the bimmer.org board when I had my M5. Erik, my friend, listen up, I strongly suspect you do not own an M45, or your wife is perhaps not so keen on topping the car out. I personally don't see how you caught her. M3 is speed limited on the top end as are ALL European autos. So is M45, guess what, same top speed...155. And unless your M twee is a current generation I predict M45 faster from a standing start. My basis?? Owned old M3, drove current M3 after having on order and rejected. Driven M45 numerous times and I am impressed. Also 2001 M5 owner for 20,000 miles and two years. After rear end whine, vanos rattle, error flat tire readings, THE WORST CLUTCH IN THE WORLD, oil consumption issues, a navigation system run by HAL, paint that chips when you look at it, and possibly the WORST and most arrogant dealer network in the world, I dumped it. The only good thing I can say about it is that it held it's value...20kmiles , 2 years, bought at MSRP, sold for 6k less....But the only reason for THAT is that there are soooo many arrogant dudes like Erik who are willing to part with the large money to have a M car, and BMW controls the volume in the first couple years of any model to make sure the dweebs line up. M45 is a one second slower 0- 60 m5 replacement at half the price, and the dealers say "yes sir, here's your G35 loaner" Not here's your 100,000 mile used car with holes in the console where the power window switches used to be. I sure do wish I lived near this guy, I would take at least one of the cars in my sig. name to a meeting. I don't even think I need the Viper. Just my old Q from a 70 roll, oh, yeah, I don't have a speed limiter any more, whaddya think guys. 92 Q, jwt ecu/tcu...top end 168+? I'll have MY lady drive the Viper against HIS lady in the M to clear the way. Sounds fair to me.

Because... Nothing can match up to an M3. Especially the cost of a tune-up. And oil change. And every minor service charge x 19030.

This further proves my point, Many BMW drivers are stuck-up assclowns.

Erik, you don't own an M45. Or an FX45. You're an internet troll, looking to start something because you have no life. You should have at LEAST done some research on the cars you CLAIM to own, because you've once again proven yourself to be full of crap.

In another thread, you couldn't even spell the color of either of your CLAIMED vehicles or identify the true name of the option packages (shouldn't be too hard for someone who claims to be a physician).

So not only have you been called out, you've been deleted. I hear superhondaonline.com needs some moderators. :D

I30T...I however, am an EX beemer assclown and proud of it, see my post. On the Viper board we call them a$$. Don't know where it came from but I love the term. nlzmo400r...'cause he's not really an owner...he's a bimmer troll, but as you may have noticed I am on the job. Once you have played on the M5 boards and the Viper boards an M twee guy is not a problem.
