Ok so I have been working on my project for a little bit now (on V8nissans)and I want to go ahead and start a build thread here.

For starters, I am using a M112 mounted upside down.
Part of #1, 2, 7, and 8 lower runners.
A custom plenum and 6061 runners
An inline tstat housing.
Top feed injectors and rail.
Brackets to hold the 40lb eaton
Water/meth inj

Next I'm posting up the pics...

So the first thing I had to determine was the spacing of the lower runner on the block. I needed a model. KLH was nice enough to produce this pic of the proper distances.

So after I marked the cut lines vertically and horizontally, I make the first cuts

I figure at this point that I would polish them. It went rather well because I was only up to 800 grit here. These runners will be TIG welded. I plan to taper the ends so that when I do weld get it almost flush with the surface.

I get home and to my surprise I slam forgot about the tstat housing. So now I gotta reroute the cooling system. What I will do here is to remove the tstat housing and replace it with a block off plate, a 6061 elbow to a inline tstat. From here I will fab new flanges for the coolant ports and y pipe from the head, and also the heater hose.

So while that stuff is on order, I went back placing the blower on the engine. Now this time I'm hung up by the studs to the inlet elbow (which will be fabbed) so I removed them and will be replacing with bolts. I need to grind off that tab under the port flange from the block... Does anyone know what that is for?

So how this sits, with the pulley in line to the alternator. I'm going to grind and file the intercooler flange, but from port to blower flange it will be 6.5". Now at this point I have a cnc'd plenum but its too tall for what I wanted. It's ok cuz a friend made it for me, for a favor from back in the day.

I will fab a tensioner to get a good grip on the pulley

I had removed the tops of the runners, but I will take more toward the inj bung using port #1 as a reference. Doing this will give me enough room to make shorter bends on the runners I will TIG to them (I have bent 6061 with .125 thickness, but it is very time consuming and difficult)
