Mine and also:

My rust problem that was hidden from me and never informed about. Didnt see it when i looked under car. He covered it with wood and carpet matching floor mat.

I would have never bought it if i knew it was there. Well determination to keep and fix it.

Erm...
Thank ya. Really, it's not *that* bad to fix. Mine was worse off and took about 9hours total.

About 2 hours to weld/make panels up, and the rest has been fiber glass work with a final coat of Bondo to smooth things out.

Basically, cut out EVERYTHING until the rust stops. Just keep cutting away further until good metal shows up.

P.S., I have a little bit of knowledge backing me up. Linky.

Step 1 = Cut off All of the rust with a sawzaww, plasma cutter... whatever.. all the rust except that back portion where the wheel well is... you will need that for support on step 2!

Yes cut it... if you try to fix it without doing that then it will just spread again

Step 2 = fiberglass...

Step 3 = bondo

Sterp 4 = paint

Step 5 = sideskirts to cover up what you screwed up in steps 1-4

Um, is it bad to Bondo rust?

That's what I did whenever I didn't know anything, I had a little spot under my driver's side door, I'm thinking about somehow redoing it with rust preventive paint.

a "little spot"??? ....You need to repair that ASAP. Like others already mentioned, cut the damaged area and rebuild the corner with new metal. Is not a bad area to work on, but one thats very sensitive to rust on 240's. Make sure to inspect all the way around for hidden rust, bondo cover up jobs,etc.....
