My Little Lemon

Just thought i'd share what I've been through in the 4 or 5 months I've had my car-Got it-on the way home...negative cable literally fell off..quick 12 dollar fix at autozone-Tires - 325$clutch - 350$In shop right now for not passing emissions $Who Knows?$transmission Lube with Amsoil - 45$Dynamax muffler with chrome tip - 105$Upcoming(my birthday present) - Paint job(prolly maaco) - - 2 and a half inch pipe back to my muffler(has 2 and a half inch inlet..they set it up so we could come back and do this when i had money-).....after all that....I probably am going to drop in the CA18det engine because i have this feeling my transmission will be worthless by then..and the engine has multiple oil leaks(might redo gaskets)....I only bought the car for 2100 dollars though...I figure i'm doin' ok..i'm sure some of yall have horror stories to tel....i just want the spending to stop..so i can pay for mods instead-

I know..my whole family calls in the lemon because in four months it's been in the shop more than any of our cars in the past year And i do love it..i don't care if the spending goes on forever...winding out second gear makes it all worth it-

all the things you just said don't make your car a lemon. All cars need new tires and new clutches at some point. A simple tune up might help pass emissions.

Ya i know my car isn't a lemon..lol...I'm just having to throw all the money into it right now..but it'll be worth it once everything in the car is fresh..then no problems for awhile-
