Hey Guys im going to start my ka-t project install soon, these are the parts that i am going to run. I am on a budget but this is what i have come up with. If anyone has any personl exp with this your opinion would be helpful. If not please dont comment unless it is helpful . Dont comment on something a "friend" did unless its something positive. Like I said, I am looking for exp. with a similar build or products. This is with my tax return and some side cash from local remote start and alarm installs. I will be running 15lb of boost tops and prob 7lb boost when crusing. Does anyone know my expected power output? I know that there are a few guys doing around 300hp with a similar setup. This is what I am looking For. Thanks for the advive-Steve

I currently also have finished my transmission swap with a Stage 3 XTD clutch. Supprisingly grips with no slip and i beat the piss out of it. It might turn out to be a pretty decent clutch. I guess that is one thing I have gotten lucky on so far but we will see after I turbo it. This is what i will be purchasing within the next few weeks, or at least start buying. top mount SSAC manifold t3/t4 Hybrid A/R .50Cold A/R.63 Hot BLindside Imports38mm tial wastegate hks ssqv bov custom 3in turbo downpipe 3in sr20det downpipe 3in test pipe3in N1 ExhaustJWT Tuned ECU 480cc injectors (just bought them 2 days ago)z32MAf SSAC FMIC

You can expect about 10WHP per 1 psi of boost. I don't think JWT selles a tune for 480cc injectors, might wanna check on that. Everything looks decent as far as I'm concerned. You'll get out what you put in, remember that.

At 7psi with a similar setup except stock exhaust and cat I was at 240whp. 10psi 290whp. This was on a Enthalpy tune.

I am having a bit of trouble with the SSQV. It surges on vacuum and low psi (<4psi). If I were you, I'd look into a Bosch bypass valve or maybe a Greddy with a recirculation fitting.

I'm going to run a larger 6mm vacuum line to it and see if that makes a difference.

Also, 15psi on 480cc injectors could be trouble. I would be wary of using them for anything over 12psi or 300whp.

My $.25

I have a manifold that i want to get rid of its one of those jgs tools log manifold one and it won't crack every month like the ssac.... thats what i have installed now. I will see if i can post you a pic of it so you can see it. I will sell it for 200shipped.

Its for a t3 and will work with deltagate or tial 38mm.... I can't use it because the back housing on my turbo is a t4.. It is made to have the wastegate dumped in to the downpipe lol you will see in the pic becuase of where the wastegate flange was welded in. I was going to go through all the trouble of getting another backhousing and redoing the downpipe but I would rather use a cast one.... because i have a oncenter t4 housing.

Post here or email me if your interested at [email protected]

To use their down pipe, the manifold has to be exactly like the one they sell. Not a custom version...

Looks like your on the right track, its def smart to ditch the ssac manifold. It sould suck to run into serious boost creep problems or have that manifold crack and have to change your ic piping for a differnt manifold. At 7psi with a tuned ecu id say around 230-250 if everything is working right.
