I was just posting my experiance on my KAT Project. Ok Ive recently bought a partial Greddy kit, M-300 Wideband, Walbro 255, sr 370 injectors, and a SAFC. Im still in the process of buying the rest.Anyways today I starting putting it on my car. It took me 5hrs! For me take off stock intake, headers and the rest of the exhaust I needed to take off. Tomorrow I hope to put the injectors in and put the Greddy kit on.Sry no pics.Any views, questions and thoughts are appricated. Thanksbtw sry for spelling im very tired after that.

Yeah man get some pics on here!lol everything seems to take twice as much time as you think.. but it's all worth boosting in the end and the money saved from doing the labor yourself

good luck!

Ok I know you guys have been waiting. Here they are.

And what I got done today was take out the old injectors from the KA and the new ones from SR.

Only one prob. When taking them out they got tore up. The tops of them are busted and one of the bottom caps is cracked. Will they still work? If not I will be put very far back on the project because I still need a gauge and I get paid in 2 weeks.

I know its blurry but this is the cracked piece on the bottom.

I was also wondering if anyone knew the size of the 3 bolts that connect the o2 housing to the downpipe. Thanks

Ok today I didnt do too much but what I did was a big step out of the way.Today I installed and setup my SAFC and got halfway through the PLX wideband install.

The only problem is where I want to put the wideband the wires wont reach the ECU anyone know what I can do?

Hehe I know they arent quality pics but all the money I had went for this setup Ive been reading though that people who are using this kit with larger downpipes have been getting boost creep. Anyone know the solution to this without using the factory downpipe?

The downpipe doesn't cause boost creep the wastegate does. The wastegate can no longer vent enough manifold pressure to keep the turbo at the desired boost level. One way to prevent this is to port the wastegate hole itself. Basically a tad smaller then the flapper itself.

If you still have issues rig a overboost cutoff switch. Use a hobbs switch to turn off the spark or fuel.

Ive read that when people use the stock dp or a smaller diameter dp they have no prob. Its when they use a SR or 3" dp they run into probs. Ive read the Greddy Kit on the STIs have same issue when used with a 3" dp. Thanks for the help.

Ok today I got most of the other projects checked off the list. Today I installed the fuel pump and I extended the wires on the WB and installed them. I got the front bumper half off but I cant find out how to take it the rest of the way off. I made a topic Here zerothread?id=262520 to try to find the location of the bolts. Im off tomorrow also and I hope to get the oil lines to and from the turbo. Heres a checklist of all the rest of the stuff I need to do.

TO DO LIST-Oil Lines To/From Turbo-Boost gauge install-Install FMIC and piping

Sounds like it's coming along good! Keep up the good work, and don't get discouraged. It will be worth it in the end!

And if that plastic cap is broken on the bottom of the injector, just pop it off. I don't think it will hurt anything.. Someone correct me if I'm wrong..
