Ok so this is my first build thread so give me a break here if i did something wrong but yeah here is the story...

I was originally looking for a 1997 240sx but they were all out of my price range so i decided to save up to get one but then i seen my car...It was a 1990 240sx with a blown motor and barely any rust for $1000 and i seen a post right below the 240 for an engine i was thinking no way.... so i went checked it out, it was very nice so i got it and a week later i got the engine. I just started finnaly working on it like two weeks ago i just havent been able to get the pictures onto my computer or anything but what i'm planning on doing is getting me a T3/T4 Turbo and turning the good KA into a KA-T with duel straight Pipes pipes, NO CAT, and a magnaflow muffler but here is what i did so far...

Well first off here is the car as i bought it:only 93xxx miles on itthe new ka

the previous owner painted it black because the owner before him had it white for some reason so he just covered it up

Ok well its time to catch up on whats been done...Well we unhooked everything from the engine last week and took the tires off to look at the brakes and took the motor out last wednesday....taking the motor out was a ***** tho we kept having little problems that would hold us back like how the motor would get caught on a screw on the motor mount because we forgot to take it back out...(we put it back in there so we wouldnt loose it but then forgot to take it back out again) and the transmission wouldn't come out and that we didn't see that the shifter had a gel ring on it...but yeah here are pics of taking out the motor....it only took about an hour to take the motor out...that's ok for a bunch of newbs i guess lol...:

this is what we got to work with lolInside one of the wheel wells and taking a look at the brakes...anywheres theres coolant youll find a tool of some sort lol...close up of brakesbetter pic of old enginebetter pic of new enginetaking out the radiatorfan, radiator and air filter outstarting to cut out the exhaustworking on the second pipeFreed the exhaust lolnow here is where all the problems start....attempt 1 = FAIL lolThis were the engine got snagged on the braket and then we found out it was snagged on a bolt...Attempt 2Attempt 2 = Win finally got the engine out lolme(right) and my buddy john (left) taking the motor outthe engine outengine baytranny out
