MY 92' 240sx KA24DE runs great except exhaust smokes a little when idling for more than a min or so on hot days. as soon as i accelerate 2 or 3 seconds later no problem. New plugs /wires, good gas mileage. Only tune up item have not done is PCV valve(pain to get to) could this be the problem, or is oil getting past the piston seals? If seals are problem approx how much $ am i lookin at? (or Labor time in shop as i dont have the tech or tools to do this job myself) thanks for your time.

maybe it doesn't work and the car just gets rich.Do you get black smoke? blue smoke?

Yeah, I have changed the O2 sensor already, and its blue smoke... If i get some time i'm gonna change the PCV valve, its the only other thing i can think of that i haven't done from fuel>exhaust system.

Sounds like my problem as well as many others before me. Valve seals. Not a cheap fix unless you know how to do it. I still have the seals I bought back in '05!
