Time for a new O2 sensor. I car would do the same hing when it was cold. Once it warmed iup it would go away. A new O2 sensor fixed the problem.

im really leaning towards MAF. normally lack of power is from either CTS or MAF.

usually not o2, because at WOT o2 is ignored, or we wouldnt run so damn rich...

so give it a clean i guess or borrow a friends if possible.

a lot of people drive around with bad CTS's, but they are so cheap its worth buying another one.

this is kinda how my bad cts started out, but eventually it gets so bad there is always a power loss until 5300 rpm at WOT.

to check it you could either check its resistance values against the FSM, but you need a gauge to tell you the exact temp. otherwise, unplug the CTS and see how the car acts once its warmed up, and then compare it to how it acts with it plugged in.

check the tps so see thats in spec, but i would at a minimum clean the maf. CRC makes maf cleaner now that i wanna try....

i might get a new one especially if your CTS sensor is still red, its gotta be pretty damn old. they've been blue for a few years now.

well i also dont see why you only took my advice, because a new bosch o2 sensor, get the universal one, is only around 25 bucks, sometimes less.

so thats a good thing to grab too, but let us know how the cts turns out.

Where exactly is the cts located? I'm beginning to think mine is faulty.

mine was cause my car starts better but it idles like 200 rpm more but you know where the top rad hose is clamps onto the block where the air bleed screw is,there to senors on the side of that facing the fan the big red one closet to the battery is the one for the ecu the other one is for the gauge.i got mine at pep boys for 25 bucks and its was black and a little bigger but it fits fine and my cars pulls harder sense i put it in

CTS is cheap and super easy to swap. Check your injectors - I just found out today I have a leaky one.

Also, check your intake piping, on my first 240 the rubber section directly off the throttle body had cracks in it underneath, so you wouldn't see it from just looking at it. Made my idle go really low etc because unmetered air was getting in.

Also check your EGR if you still have it, is it clogged? Most remove it rather than freshin the system. (I still have mine)

cts is the red, or i guess blue or black, sensor on the upper intake manifold by the water outlet. its the larger one, not the smaller one.

is it that black box beside the intake and exhaust manifold?i have it disconnected where it goes back into the intake,is that whats causing it to idle high?its at like 900 it should be less than 800 rpm

if you didnt plug everything back up you'll definately have an idling problem, thats for sure.
