Whenever i'm browsing the interenet, i often get a message that says that there was an eroor and internet explorer has to shutdown, has anyone had this happen to them, it happens quite often to me and its annoying. Does anyone have any idea how to fix it. Should i try and download service pack 2, do you guys think that will solve it?

Thanks

yeah the problem is you are using Internet Exploder. Get Mozilla firefoxhttp://www.mozilla.org/Internet Exploder is a peice of junk and full of security holes that can comprimise you computer. Keep it because some sites are not structered right and will only work on the MS browser but make Firefox your default. You might have some spyware or a virus too, check for that and then hit the Microsoft site and make sure your system is up to date on all security patches.

Heh...Everobody's IE is messed up. See how it says "Microsoft Internet Explorer" along the top? Telltale sign something is seriously wrong.

Get Firefox like TMS suggested.

How to Reformat Your Hard Drive

There comes a time in every drives life when it just becomes too cluttered. Sure you could manually delete all those useless files, but who has time for that? The best way to do this is to reformat your hard-drive. WARNING: By reformatting your hard drive, you lose all information that is still on it. This includes, games, personal files, Office Suites, and anything else you have added besides Windows.

Not something to be taken lightly, and I'm sure he meant it as a joke, though I've done it twice this year. NOt fun .

You mean including Windows. Windows is also removed with a drive reformat, it wipes EVERYTHING. Not a single byte is untouched. If you reformat, you have to reinstall everything from the OS up.

Ah, my bad, victim of cut and paste. I did a quick search and just copied and pasted, as I thought it was more "complete" than me typing up some stuff, oops.

see this is why it is good to buy a whole pc from a store. you will almost always get a system recovery disk. just pop it in and it will put every thing back the way it was right out the BOX. i had to do once already. i totaly screwed up some setting and couldn't figure out how to get it back. now its like new.
