My I30T seems to bog

Hello, My I30T seems to bog when accelerating especially when Im between 3K-4K RPM.

It also happens when I am cruising a certain speed and all of a sudden I will floor it. The car seems to bog or be sluggish and "slowly creeps" to higher speeds. Then when the car redlines, I feel a big jerk and the gear changes.

Other than that, the car runs fine. Sometimes if I accelerate from the stop light, the car seems to be sluggish as well.

Anyone know what can be wrong?

This may or may not apply here but I have had cracks in my air intake before that cause my car to bog down during accelleration.
