Hey everyone I finally registered to the forum instead of just reading all the time. I own a 95 240sx, that was just recently wrecked, but i am hoping i can keep it, so if anyone knows alot about body work let me know still not quite sure what i will be getting into.

Welcome to the Boards...really sorry to read about your car's misshap... what happened with your 240? how much damage was done to it?

I will probably post pictures basically bent all the way back to the sturt tower the suspension is fine though

by the way i saw your 240 on rice or nice do you have 4 lug wheels or 5 lugs and if its 4 lug what rims are those?

what bent all the way.. just the hood?? or the whoe front???

Yes, my wheels are 4 lug ADR Sokudo 8...

the front drivers side. bumper fender hood all ruined and sheetmetal is bent too..

they did said it would be 8000 to fix, but i go to an automotive tech school that can do labor for free so all i have to pay is parts, i am hoping they approve it, and if anyone on here bought an s14 front clip they could donate some body parts they won't use.

OUCH - That's terrible. Sorry to see that happen to ANYONE'S ride.

Dude, I'm no expert, but I can tell you that's not gonna be WORTH fixing. You'll never get the unibody back in specs... Strut towers have moved AND the A-pillar has moved.

Maybe you could gut it, do a motor swap and make it a race car. You won't be able to get full coverage insurance either, so don't dump too much $$$ into it...

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN HOMIE it smells like s15 conversions will be in your near future. with the damage on that thing they will most likely hit you up wit something higher then the price on an s15 front end anyway. my friend wrecked his mom's lexus rx300 and the only thing wrong was there were dents and shi-t all around the grill, hood and front bumper. the over all price for the repairs was $4000. they said that there was something wrong wit the perfectly fine head lights and they had to replace it. IDK

yeah i have been pestering dauntless a whole lot about his s15 conversion but its gonna take more than that. i am pretty sure my school can straiten it out.

Lots of questions. When did you start, what phase are you in, what kind of car you drive now, morning or evening classes, and what is your favorite food? Well, my brother has a white 96 talon but was wrecked and is waiting to be repaired, so now hes driving a red cadillac sts, hes tall, mexican/white, and has morning classes.

hmm i am in automotive started in feb( 3phases from graduating) don't have a car now waiting to see if the school will fix the 95 240sx whats his name, is his talon a tsi awd cause theres one of those and a regular white talon with dual exhaust.

Yeah, the dual exhaust one sounds like my brothers, in case yall are wondering, he got all of that done for free, he did it himself, just to see what it was like, its the esi sadly, but have a hahn stage 3 kit on it by march, be runnin 12s. His name is darren and he usually sleeps in his car before school starts, he doesnt look mexican, well, more white because we are half white half mexican. Yeah, the guy with the tsi and my brother are always talkin to eachother, i guess you almost in hot rod u. My bro started in sept. if you ever see him say whut up to him, hes tight.
