I've been throwing that combo around in my head for a few weeks, do you like it? can you think of anything you would change with it?xsublimefrekx wrote:i have a peakboost manifold and a gt35r with full 3" exhaust and i spool at about 3800 at 10lbs.
well im thinking on sleeving the block, and shooting for somewhere between 475-500whp (i know..its stupid..lol) do you think the turbo is actually capable of it? I know garrett says the turbo is good for 600hp, but is it really capable of it? also, the peak boost manifold....are they as nice as they look? any cracks yet?xsublimefrekx wrote:i love it. At 10lbs on a decent tune i made 300 whp. I run AEM EMS. The only thing i would think of is maybe going with a gt30. I have 9:1 compression and spools around there. If you dont mind the spool time go for it, i dont plan on changing it because i am in love with the set up.
that'd be crazy in a street car. a little too much for me, lol. but a sick drag car if you had the right suspension setup.DrifterProdigy85 wrote:Stock sleeves are good over 500whp. GT35R .82 A/R will get over 600whp with proper tuning and 272 cams. A guy on freshalloy made 589whp with a S14 low port head with 264/272 cams. 600whp should be possible with a S13 high port head.
