My hood wont close right!!

I just got her monday and recovered the interior! so dont bug me about the motor!How it is.When i put my weight on it. Baiscly i was coming out of my drive way (its steep)Before: Thats just the front bumper hanging, i gotta fix that.. But i was going down my driveway heard nothing but scrap pulled over looked and noticed my hood up, opened it closed it and it didnt close so i redid it, and still didnt.. the latch dont even lock, even if i put my weight on ..

easy fix.

take the screws off the hinges and leave them loose. then fix the gap and tighten back up.

Its my latch it wont lock or anything.. Even if i put my weight on it.. So i just took the latch off and fixed the front bumper from hanigng.. Without Latch:Bumper fixed:Fitting:Stupid Latch:

Thanks.Hopefully the hood dont magicly fly up since its not locked on.. but its not carbon fiber so its not light.. hopefully the weight of the hood keeps it down..I'll have my friend check out the latch since i dont feel like messing with it
