My first attempt at an HID conversion worked ok, but my fog lights are 2 colors. 1 is amber, the other is a lime yellow. These are 3000k type H3.

I would imagine they should both be the same color?

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Post a pic. It can take a little bit for the bulb to burn in for the color. I got 300k for the fogs one was Yellow, the other not so much there now both the same color. Been about a month or 2 since installed.

Let's see if this works...

Not the best picture, sorry (old phone/camera). The passenger side fog is more lime green in reality, and the drivers side fog apears more amber in reality.

The passenger side is more like:

While I'm not sure which color they are supposed to be, I would like them to at least be the same color!

I would chalk that up to inconsistent cheap bulbs

The set I bought came with the harnesses.

It's the "http://www.v-leds.com/HID-Xenon/H3/HID- ... 0-1-3.html" from V-LEDS.com.

-I guess I'll try swapping the bulbs side->side, and seeing if the problem follows the bulb or not, then go from there.

-Shoot I hope not! The set was pretty pricey IMO, but I did get it on special after Thanksgiving (Internet black friday weekend or some-such).

Id email the company, they do look like a fairly cheap set, but Ive bought LEDS from that website before and there CS is good.

Cant hurt to send them a picture and tell them your not satisfied and see what they do

Good idea. Thanks!

On the plus side, I was driving behind a coworker for about a mile on the way in tonite. He said he didn't notice any color difference.

There customer service is really good!! Wow!

I had e-mailed them as you suggested, and they had asked if I could take some pictures. I sent them the same as above, then got busy with stuff.

Christmas eve morning a replacement set of bulbs arrived. What an unexpected suprise!

Christmas day we were to have dinner with family 3 hours away, so I installed the replacement bulb saturday. + I've been running the fogs for the week, and the color matches. NICE!

Added visibility, added safety-easily "to be seen" lighting day/night, but not distracting to other drivers, added "style". NICE!

V-Leds had sent an e-mail saying they were sending a replacement set, but I didn't have a chance to read it untill later. They just requested that I send the faulty unit & or units back.
