Im planning a tt swap Ive been trying to figure it out, Im on a budget but ive been saving for a while, still have time to go, but good things are worth waiting for right? To me it is out of the question to sell my na and buy a tt. Ive been all over Z1 looking at the conversion package and it seems like a good deal, but my concerns were with the miles on the engine and the amout of abuse it endured. Would it be a bad idea to rebuild the engine? What about getting a new OEM EFI wiring harness And should I count on the turbos being usable? I figured when I had the tt on the stand to do the 60K maintenance and replace other things, that i might as well do a rebuild. Thanks in advance

it could never hurt.... when i do my build im replacing EVERYTHING....it would make you feel alot better when your driving to KNOW that everything is good/new rather than to just assume and always worry about it in the back of your mind

Most will reccomend you get new CHRA's which are the center cartridge of the turbos. This way you basically have a brand new turbo you just swap over the housings. Rebuilds often leak
