have you taken apart the console lately or anything? If so maybe you forgot to hook it back up. Are the lights in the parking shifter out as well?

Could be a fuse too. I haven't had that happen.

Hey I hate to change the subject but where di you get your clear side marker lenses? How much were they?

I have a 6MT...no lights.

Is there a connector on the back of the hazard button? I did have a stereo shop install a gain level control in the ash tray...any advice on how to remove without breaking anything?

For the clear markers...here ya go!

take it to the dealer, Ive seen a few stop working, not at all normal but when you see 100 G's a week, and 3 hazards go bad in the last 3 months, I would say it happens, nothing to get freaked out about, but worth taking to get replaced under waranty.

I'm just worried that since I've had a stereo installed, and they messed with the console, the dealer would charge me. If it's just a connector that came loose, I can certainly fix it. However, if it's a relay that went bad, then it should fall under the car's warranty.

What was fixed on the G's that came in?

The Stereo shop probably forgot to connect the switch back up. I just had to have my Navi screen replaced and they got into the console and forgot to hook things back up. My shift lights, hazard and ash tray lights did not work so I had to take it back to get them to fix it.

I have no idea how to get that thing off without breaking it. Someone else on here might. I let the dealership handle it.

If you have an "in" or buddy at the dealer see if he can fix it for you under the radar. My service guy does little things like that for me all of the time. Plus my take is if you shelled out $30 or $40K for the car with them then the dealer shouldn't be sweating the little stuff, that is if they want to maintain a repeat customer/ buyer.

Hey InfinitiTech...can you give a short explanation on how to get to the back of the console...without breaking anything? I tried to feel through the ash tray, and there is a plastic piece in the way.

just stick your hands in the shift boot under the console and pull up on the console...its just held in with clips and will come up with a quick hard pull up.

YOU'RE THE MAN!!

That part of the console came right up, and sure enough the electrical connector was just lying there! Works fine now.

Thanks for the help!!
