I know this isnt a CA question but i post on this section more. Just wondering why my trunk .. ( by the spare tire ) has water in it? I mean it's sunny.. no water.. I wash my car and spray it everywhere, where the hatch trunk was and look after i wash it and no water has gotten in. Then the next day it rains.. I have a F****ing pool in the back! What's the deal? My hatch is rustless / wingless and the whole body is in really good condition

My car does the same thing when it rains really hard. Luckily that happens like less than a dozen times a year here. My brothers rx7 does it too, and it looks like a brand new car inside and out. It's nothing out of the ordinary, could just be bad weather stripping or sealant, and its definitely largely due to just a bad design.

yea its the taillights, you can pull the big rubber plug to let it drain, just leave it out
