im new to the forum. thanks to you guys that post so many threads that helped me make my decisions on what to buy for the car. a lot of ppl buy tanabe springs here. whats wrong with the megan ones? just cz its cheap doesnt mean its not good. i found them very good quality and the ride is just like stock. i didnt feel any difference. the strut bar might have helped but thats mostly for steering purposes and i did feel a diff there. the intake is awesome. a must for a mod.

Nice mods dude. You did a pretty good job. Hey as for the HID did you just get the HID kit and install it using the stock headlamp housing or did you just replaced the headlamps?

yeh she loves her car now. i like it a lot too. i told her not to have too much fun with it.

i'm planning on doing a fog light kit on it. anyone done that here? and is it pretty easy to do the wiring? also, i wanna do an exhaust system on it. i dont want it LOUD but a nice mellow tone like the mini coopers. are there any systems for that or do i have to get it custom made like just get a borla muffler and polished tip. i saw someone here in a diff thread that did a magnaflow muffler with a nice custom welded tip. very very nice! i wanna do something like that but with a borla muffler.

we were debating into changing her wheels to 17s but she lives in MI so they get alot of snow. so its a maybe... sound system is nice. i might upgrade the speakers and put a 10in with a custom box where the spare tire is but thats an option too. i really want to do header and catback. ive heard some of the clips but the tanabe sounds( no offense) too ricey and so does the stillen one. i dont want to a round muffler on it but an oval one. when she needs to brake pads ill put hawk ceramics and paint the calipers. other than that her car is bada** the way it is right now.

Fog Lights: I did just did the eBay OEM factory light kit... install was simple and quick. ~120bucks too. I did have to cut out the black trim finisher, but that was also simple.

She also needs a Spoiler.. I can help you, see sig

If your girlfriend's Versa is the SL model then the fog light wiring should already be there. If it's the S then it could depending if she got the S with the ABS and all that other crap that comes with it. Otherwise you're gonna have to do it from scratch. By the way shouldn't you have already seen this when you took off the bumper? As for wheels isn't it a little bit too late in the year to be thinking about changing them? 17s are nice on the Versa and is definitely the way to go...

check my car and you will se pictures of aftermarket fog kit.

http://forums.nissanversa.org/zerothread/443231

It is complete.

High quality item.

The only thing that doesn't fit is the front finish fascia (bezel), and you have to do the hole on the original bezel.

This bezel fits the tiida's from china, that have a diferent bumper.

This is the kit I installed. VERY, VERY easy. the Switch is on the right lower section. Where the dimmer and mirror adjustment is. There is a blank plate, it simply snaps in. Done!

I didn't install my kit. I took the car to a sound store and they done the service.

If you understand a little bit of eletricity, i think it's not hard to do it.

I can take pictures from where the wires got into the car to you can install the button.

The kit is complete, relay, fuse, all wires, lamps, everithing you need is there, you just have to install and it seems to be very easy.

Anything you want to clear yor doubts, please let me know.

Nice job you are doing on your GF's car.

Congrats.

Codelicious: at this rate we will have matching cars,.,., good and evil (black and white)

the eBay lights were simple, cheap(compared to USDM) and work well...used them today on the drive into work this morning.

im not hating on them. i like the Si model but for some reason Honda just didnt take their time at making the civic. they should have stayed with the D series and not switch over the R series..but its just my 2 cents..a lot of ppl might argue with me like hardcore Honda owners.

im just saying nissan and toyota dominate any day over Honda.

btw if u do lower ur gf's car...have fun with the strut bolts lol. omg bro they suck. the one thats covered is a PAIN IN THE A**!!!! i took my time and took off the wipers w/ arm, the firewall cover and a long extension. TIP: USE SEAFOAM DEEP CREEP when u break those loose. that stuff is amazing. PB blaster, liquid wrench doesnt compare.
