My Gas light is stuck on?

Hi there,

I was just wondering if anyone has had or knows how to fix my problem.

On my 1990 240SX the little yellow LED gas light on the dash is stuck on. The gauge works fine but the light will not turn off

Any ideas??

The gas light in the 240 is a little weird like that.Sometimes it doesn't come on for me at all, and sometimes it would come on at around 1/2 tank.So I disconnected it:)

Hey ninjak84,

Do you remember which wire you cut and where, i think that I may just do the same thing - it has been on permanently for about a year now!!
