Hey all,

On thursday, after i turned my car off, the passenger window went down 3/4 of the way, when my wife opened the passenger door. I restarted the car, put up her window, turned off car, she opened her door again, and the window again goes down. I then just had her get out of the car, and close the door, I put the window up with car running, turned off the car and exited my side. I come back to the car 5 hours later and the battery is dead.

I get the car jumped, now the window ghost is doing the same thing, but this time on the passenger side. I brought the car in Fri to infiniti, and it happened infront of the tech, he told me he never saw anything like it. However, when he called me later in the afternoon, he said he couldnt find anything wrong with it, but wanted to keep the car till mon afternoon.

Anybody ever hear anything like this?

There was something similar on a G35 posted awhile back, but I forget what the outcome was.

The sensor could be off that puts the window down enough automatically so you can open the door without breaking the window.

this happened to me too. the solution is in the owners manual and you basically have to reset the windows... i forget how to do it because i only had to do it once, but it's DEFINATELY in the owners manual.

Yeap need to be reset. The cause most likely lost power maybe disconected battery.

Never had to do on mine. The way to do it is to hold the window switches to roll down and then hold them to roll up. You have to hold them few seconds longer. So keep holding a bit longer.I think it was 5 seconds.

Most likely it is in the manual as Romeron says.
