As I'm walking to my car for lunch i see a mantis trying to blend in with my paint job and/or escape the heat. I'm not going to lie i was startled for a second, because i wasn't ready to see a mantis... tell me when the last time you saw a mantis in real life? In the middle of a concrete parking lot at that...

Of all cars to land on, it choose a G35

Or he simply dreams of being a model posing at car shows...

My son just found one 2 weekends ago. When we walked the dog. That was green. He actually picked it up and showed me and my wife. I don't have to tell you how big my wife jumped. I've only seen green one. Sweet.

I send this picture to my son.

Oddly enough, I was leaving my apartment at school one night and found 2 of them sitting on the windshield of my old car. That was really interesting...

It looks like the population of the Mentis growing. I have not seen one for years till my son showed me the one. Also he told me found one at his school yard at brake time. He is a bug freak so he tried to save the little stick dude. I think they are one of the funnies/meanest looking bugs.
