I got a new aftermarket alternator and lights still on? I checked brake resivor and its full . There appears to be no overcharging or undercharging, car drives awsome! Anyone out here ever experience this problem? Where would a ground be to the alternator? Infiniti uses no grounds to the chassis. I'm confused help.

Did you check the charging voltage across the battery with a voltmeter? Should be around 14.4v if the alternator is functioning properly. 74k miles should not require an alternator. I traded in my 06 G35 with almost 172k miles on the original alternator.
With the battery light on and the brake light on it sounds like two separate issues.
Did you check the belts?
Did the troubles start immediately after the battery was replaced?
When i replaced the battery on my 06G35 the dealer price was very close to what others were charging and I had the dealer replace my battery.
