My G20 sounds like a dolphin! (VIDEO)

1995 G20 130,000 miles. 2000 miles from last oil change. The car has just started making this squealing sound. It is loud. Sounds like its under the valve cover. It usually occurs when the engine is cold. It speeds up with the revs of the engine, and will usually disappear a few miles down the road. It hasn't affected performance. Any ideas how to get rid of it?

Of course best thing for you is to take it in to a proper mechanic to check it out you can only trust the forums so much.

Listen to it again not sure what it is but it sure sounds like you need some work done. Could be anything.

Tough call. "sounds like" a blown head gasket. Back in the day we called it a chirp. But then it also sounds like "something" internall, as it quites down, at decelleration. Good luck. Might try here: http://consumerguideauto.howst...2.htm
