O.K. Finally got the chance to set up the photobucket. Attached is the link to view my G with the new Toyo Proxes T1R tires.

I love the car!

The picture of the ride with the new tires is up! I am still getting used to the Toyo tires. It seems to be great for straight line take offs. Much better than the Bridgestone Potenza Re00050A in straight line take off. Grips roads on straightlines without spinning like the Bridgestones.

However, I have taken it to the pseudo track close to where I live. I am finding out that the Toyos are not exactly as good as the Bridgestones in tight turns. I tend to feel like there is soap under the tire on those extreme tight turns at higher speeds. I think these tires will be excellent for drifting.

Even my worn Bridgestones had better grip than the new Toyo Proxes T1R. So, i drive more carefully in tight turns with these tires.

However, the Toyos look better on the car than the Bridgestones.

No tire will ever be best under all conditions. If you want to drive on twisty roads with great ease and confidence, the Bridgestone Potenzas 225/40 (front) and 245/40 rear are great. However in the raini the Bridgestones are horrible.

If you want straightline take off with confidence, and good looks, these Toyo T1R Proxes are excellent with 245/35 fronts, and 275/35 rears. Of course, my tires are 19 inch tires.

Also discovered that the 2007 G-35 Coupe 6MT does not have an idler pulley. I am planning to replace the pulleys with non0underdrive pulleys, and then get the car tuned and dynoed. That is my next project.

Thanks! I thought as much. So, at the moment, I ma trying to spin them out a few times to remove that soapy feel from the way the tires behave. Thanks a bunch!

If you can take some pictures closer to the tires and use the micro option on your camera. I have noticed the best results when doing this. So far they look nice but I am interested in checking how thick they look over the rims. If you ever feel like selling your rims let me know I would be very interested in a few more months when my tires are already dying.

They look sweet. I'm debating putting 245's on my 17" stock wheels. That upper control arm would be close up front.
