hey guys, first post here :D and i hope you can help me!!

aaah where do i start, i have the G37 coupe.

first, it started with bluetooth problem, the car just all of a sudden stopped the bluetooth automatic connection with my mobile, and i cant connect the mobile from the menu either, the ONLY way to connect the mobile is to delete it from the G and connect it as a new pair and i have to do that everytime i drive the car.

i ignored the problem for some time, but yesterday trying to fix the problem, i did the reset thingy (when you turn off the audio and keep pressing the "settings" button and turn the volume up to access a menu"

in that menu there is a rest or initializing for the HDD and everything gets erased like phonebook...etc.

of course the bluetooth problem is still there but another one arise, NOW every time i turn off the car and then come back later, the car goes back to default settings!!!

for example, i like to make the A/C read as C' NOT F', when i change it to C' and come back later it goes back to F'.

also NOW when i register my mobile on the list, i come back later and the list is gone!!!

it's like the car do a reset for itself every time i leave it!!!

i tried EVERYTHING. rest the ECU, disconnect the battery, do the initializing again and nothing changed, i cant go to the dealer goes i imported my car from the US to here Dubai, and the system of the US-spec is different than the Middle East-spec, so they dont know how to deal with it, and they say it's against policy blah blah blah.....so am on my own.

any idea how to fix this????
anyone knows how to fix this?!!?

Sounds like you need a new AV control unit.

Call your local dealer. There really isn't anything the DIYer can do for this problem.

There is no manual retrieval mode.

I kind of suspected this car was no longer stateside, given your problem
Your radio might be done, devices used globally are not tested to be compliant with the Bluetooth version.

The only advise I can give you is to stop immediately (if you do not you could easily do significantly more damage) and find someone who is willing to look at your car in real life. Since your car has had so many changes to it all bets are off.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Get yourself to a Nissan specialist.....quick.
