I'm ashamed.
ss13turbo I did the same thing you are doing. I had my car for like a year and just maintained it, but when it got hit and i garaged it i started making big (too big) plans for it. I built a list of parts just like you. I saved up and started buying this and that, and then like a week after i bought a part i would be surfing the forums and see a thread about how garbage the part i just bought was.
I had a big pile o parts (cost me lots o money) and started to get to work. While i was doing the SR swap, i realized i had bought parts i didn't even need and couldn't even use. I still have them in a box. So i can either lose some money and time trying to sell them to someone who could use them, or just leave them in the box..(

)
Now i have started the engine but it runs like poo. I don't know what is wrong with it, and i am unsure whether i will ever finish it or just sell it as the headache it is. SO, since the engine isn't going like i had hoped, i have a box of PSM coilovers, 4 Rota P45R's, set of drilled/slotted rotors(didn't need these at all), and a Kaaz 2-way LSD sitting in my bedroom teasing me, waiting for a 240sx worth installing them on.
If i could give everything i bought back, the SR and all the swap parts (half of which i WANTED and didn't NEED), the suspension/brakes, and the LSD and get all my money back, i would do it in a second. But i am not going to get what i paid for them so i am holding onto hope that i will fix my s***(that mess in my sig) or get another 240.
Don't let this happen to you.
Take it one upgrade at a time,
After you buy a car and get it running the way you want it to.
These people speak the truth.
Okay, did my gigantic wall of ignorance filled emo text redeem my free post?
