hey guys i just got my car back from my boy's shop. I was doing some of the easier work while he was doing the hard stuff like welding. Any who he decided to do the oil pan while i was at work . The welding good and it doesn't leak but im a lil concerned about the drain line it's a lil horizontal. The line comes straight down from the turbo but it has to loop around the ac. I mean he already did that test with the turbo off to see if the oil is flowing. It flows fine. Also Don't lecture me about the rubber return line i got it with a kit from jgs turbo the specialize in ka-t projects. Let me know wat you guys think. here's a pic

...that's not JB Weld, is it?

(my first ka-t oil return line was also a little horizontal right at the pan it worked ok for me...)

he just said it was mig welded. reading comprehension > you

and jb-welding works fine if you do it right. i've seen it on many unleaking setups.

if you thread the bung into the pan and use jbweld to secure and seal it will be fine, but not using the jbweld to hold the thing in place.

I think he was pointing out that Geo was talking to Craving, not the original poster who had already said it wasn't JB weld and was indeed welded. Which is pretty funny with crazycav saying "reading comprehension > you."

Almost a good point, except that I was pointing out that someone just seemed to be upping their post count rather than contributing. But at this point, aren't we both guilty?
