Its one of three problems......

Fuel sending unitbad gaugeor wiring / relay

You can google how to test a fuel gauge, if that works most likely its the sending unit in the tank..... easy fix.

the guy above me is right it's one of those things.

If it's an S13 then it could also be the metal baffle in the tank. I posted in couple threads about this on Zilvia and I had the same issue myself which was the baffle breaking loose and causing the fuel sending unit to become stuck.

my baffle broke and is slidding forward and rearward and causing my sending unit to get stuck... im guessing its ment to pushed forward toward the motor ???

im thinking of just pushing it forward then jbwelding it.. funny wasnt till i put in the walbro did i start having problems.. 3 years drifting no issue till walbro i dunno but i beat all the drifting broke it lol.. id take it out but i dunno its there for a rearson so ill probably just jb weld it. it sucking being at a drift event and having ur s*** stuck on e not knowing how much gas u have lol

yea, im not for sure but i think it would be a bad idea for you to take it out. I believe that is used to keep the fuel from sloshing around and uncovering the fuel pump while accelerating/braking and cornering. Dont quote me if this is wrong but i think thats what it is for. I am also having a problem like this in my s14. It always says full until the fuel gets real low and then the needle starts to fall. I swapped my cluster so I know the cluster isn't bad, I was going to change the sending unit next
