That's its mouth, you feed it and gap goes away. :)

But no, seriously, I don't know, talk to body shop?

The Stillen fascia is notorious for this gap or "sag" in a few places. There are threads on how to fix it, use the search function.

Its time like these that Im glad that I joined the forum and did tons of research BEFORE I purchased anything for my Coupe.

It looks good, but Im starting to wish I never got it. My suspension has been getting progressively worse and worse and I can only blame the Eibachs. I should have saved and went coilovers...

basically the gap is jus from not having a support bracket. wat you can do is go to home depot & buy 2 straight metal support bars & mount them from you radiator support frame & jus have them hold the grill up so this way it will be more flush with the hood. did it to mine n it looks good as new :)

theres a also a link for it but not sure where. my be under the DIY section

yea i know the thing is the 2009 altima sedan dont come with the bracket! which sucks and the crazy thing is that stillen didnt even know that, i researched it myself to see and the only one that comes with the bracket is the 08 coupe and the support bracket is called a "upper retainer".. so i been contacting stillen to see what there gonna do and they been telling me about there are have meetings with steve millen and the other dudes who install the fascia, i think there trying to see if they can get a support brace for my car.. i feel like if i spent this money on there fascia i dont wanna go out a drill holes into my car for there mistake ya know.. hope they fix this asap. once again thanks for the help.

No I dont have strut bar or an aftermarket sway bar, but thats not going to prevent the damage to struts and shocks anyway. The springs put a beating on them. My front is so bad the last time I had the car on a lift the mechanic was able to EASILY push the wheels up and down, like 1 hand easy.

your not drilling holes in the bumper though your just wedging 2 metal plates under the bumper in order to support it

Dreed86 posted a thread about how to fix it awhile ago, just search it. It pretty much involves just screwing 2 pieces of metal to force the fascia up, its really easy. Also, there are 2 plugs on both sides if the hood you can screw all the way in to make the hood a little lower.
