i was recently driving my friends I30 when i noticed that when ou stepped on the breaks on the highway the whole car rumbled anyone kno what would cause it i have a list of things but am not quite sure

it could be a bad brake rotor or caliber

Rumbled? Or shuddered-- a pulse-pulse-pulse feeling through the pedal? If the latter it's warped brake rotors. I'd replace them-- on a car that old it's likely the original rotors are too thin to resurface.
