My friend that I've looked up to died last night in his sleep. He was a genuinely caring person that didn't think twice about helping someone out that was in need. He was planning to get married to his girlfriend and make a happy family with her and her son.
I was just talking to the guy a week ago. We talked about cars, joked about how another friend of ours lost his license, made fun of stupid people, just had fun. Its crazy that just 5 days later, and I'll never be able to talk to him again or ask him for any kind of guidance. If my car didn't crap out on me yesterday, maybe I would have seen him one last time...
Life is a very, very fragile thing guys, and most of us take tomorrow for granted. Truth be told, every day is literally a gift. I bet Kenny went to sleep last night thinking about the shenanigans that probably happened after church, and thought about some task to do with his house. I bet he didn't think for a second that he wouldn't wake up the next morning. Hold on to each day, don't dwell on the small troubles that you face, embrace your loved ones, and never take tomorrow for granted.
R.I.P Kenny, I'll miss you man.
