Dude it looks sick even without kouki tails. I say kouki tails are like the cure all for some people... but its good to be different.

Thanks again everyone

to answer a few ?s 1.

I am not sure how much it has cost me, and I would hate to add it up. but if I had to guess it is probably over 10k with the parts I haven't even put on yet.

2.

I have not dynoed yet I am still street tuning on the AEM. dont really want to waste a bunch of dyno time when I am going to put the gt35r and extras on when my manifold comes in.

3.

Kouki tails are nice but I know of a few other things I would rather spend $400+ on. again (like the wheels) performance and function come first to me.

looks amazing. after going to HIN Im so over those sport max wheels with the red lips, but they are about 2000 times better than those ugly TSWs posted.

least in orlando those wheels are over done, but still look amazing.

Awesome paint, I really like the black roof and tint on the windows. I,m about to paint my hatch - shave the antenna, washer squirter and wiper arm and keep it as clean and stock as possible. I also want to change my stock red to a little bit brighter Dodge Viper Red and since you are a Painter I'll really appreciate your opinion and advise: how to choose the the place - all of them say to leave my car and not to worry about it. I really want quality finish like yours and don't know if it all about materials(primers and paint) or this is less important. Give us some pointers what to be aware off when deciding about choosing a Paint Shop and how to find out who is not bull ****ting me with phoney promisess of the best finish in town etc. What to ask for material vise and technique vise. I allready know one answer - "depend how much you want to spend"but I also know that the higher price do not always guarantee good job done.

This reminds me... when I get around to painting my project this spring... I have to pick your brain on paint brands/supplys etc...

I'll just poke you on MWIR I think though.

The best way to know what shop does good quality work is to talk to people at local car shows and cruise ins. even if you have to go to hot rod shows. The cars with custom paint jobs and resprays are usually obvious, ask the owners who did the work and how reasonable are the prices. You will almost never get a good paint job cheap. but expensive doesn't always mean good. a shop's best representation are its prior customers and how well the work was done and holds up (paint chipping/ peeling etc).

Hope that helps

I honestly try not to add the costs up on my project cars. I do all the work myself and buy/ sell / trade car stuff to pay for my builds. I parted out my 650 whp b16a2 to build this car and put a gsr swap back in my 00 Civic Si so I can put it up for sale this spring.<----- which means more parts for this and my other cars. gonna put an rb25det auto in my body dropped hardbody

Once again, another well built sick car from you Rizzo. I remember seeing your Civic on CSS a while back ago. Whats next on your list of things you want to do to this car?
