I think it will look pretty good but I think I need to see daylight shots and back a little ways (to see the whole car). You said rear, too? How about a shot of that?

no i don't do a lot of painting. it was a pain in the *** and wouldve been alot easier with a heat gun. it wouldn't have been so bad if i didn't take all the wiring out. the top plug is rediculously hard to plug back in if you take apart then put back together.

That looks amazing. I have always thought that the headlights should come from the factory color coded to the car that way.

Not to be the spoiler here-- while the look is excellent, my position is one from safety. Black cars are often harder to see than brighter cars. To further blacken the G with this look is to reduce the likelihood of being seen even further. According to some insurance industry accident rates by car color, drivers of brown and black cars had the highest serious accident risk and the highest likelihood of sustaining serious injuries caused by auto accidents.

I always drive with my lights one. irrespective of the weather.

On the other hand, removing some of the shiny areas on the front of the car reduces the ability of laser radar to acquire a lock!

Actually, irrespective of the shiny surfaces, the electro-magnetic waves can still easily catch you. Even an all-black car can be easily picked up by... the issue isn't car color, but design. The stealth b0mber, for all of it's design hoopla, still can be detected by radar.

The Radar Cross Section (RCS) of an object is a direct measure of its visibility to radar. The can be defined as the area of a fictitious perfect reflector of electromagnetic waves that would reflect the same amount of energy back to the transmitting/receiving radar antenna, as would the actual target. The RCS is dependent on the wavelength and….

I think black cars are #2..... Silver/Grey cars are #1 becasue they are the color of the road!....

At nigth black is the worst but most accidents occur during the day (when most people do their driving lol) so silver/grey takes the #1 spot!

Red,Yellow,Orange (burnt lol) are the lease likely to get into an accident... but they are most likely to get the speeding ticket!

Everything I have read about laser says that the cops always aim for the shiniest point on the vehicle... lots of chrome = lots of area to focus on. Without much chrome, they tend to point toward headlights and the like... but that's just non-technical internet reading.
